A home - a community - a future!
We work to ensure that people can have a safe and adequate housing, be part of a healthy and good community and have life-giving hope for the future!
We know that healthy relationships and good modeling are essential for change to take root in the lives of those we serve. That is why human relationships is a central component to every project we undertake.
We provide opportunities for transforming lives through education and training as well as appropriate resources and other assistance - in order to avoid dependency.
We strengthen and cooperate closely with local house churches in the communities - enabling them to share God's love in words and actions.
We build our work on more than 25 years of aid and ministry experiences - where inclusion and accountability of the target groups from day one has been crucial to producing successful changes leading to lasting sustainability.
The Stilt House purpose
The purpose of the Stilt House is to drive effective, direct and sustainable development among the poor in Cambodia and thereby convey God's love in word and action.
The resource base comes primarily from gifts and other contributions made in Norway and the United States, as well as local gifts and sustainability projects in Cambodia.
